While some may send you to Le Comptoir for a showy dinner of Moroccan specialties, we believe Le Comptoir is better visited for it’s bar that allows guests to come and go at their leisure while enjoying the truly stunning Marrakech setting that’s one of the most popular restaurants in town. Dark red walls are hung with traditional Moroccan painting with rafter ceiling accented in circular chandeliers and illumined globe fixtures.

A sexy bar area, also red, looks more Buddha Bar than 101 Nights with small lounge area with small tapas style menu of Moroccan specialties like hummus, eggplant salads, and seafood dishes. At night, the bar is a thoroughfare for the belly dancing troops that descend on the main dining room for a 10-minute show and 5-minute donation gathering that’s best enjoyed with a full bottle of Bordeaux.
